Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

So I ,have been going ,to vegetarian palate, for years ,since they have been on Flatbush ave. I think ,they dont have recipes, for their foods . Because, everytime you order ,the food taste different. Today, May 23 2026 I ordered lomein extra broccoli, broccoli in garlic sauce, mango chicken, veggie fried rice with extra broccoli, spring roll and duck. The duck was burned, the garlic sauce ,was brown sauce not garlic sauce, the lomein had so much oil, im calling the high cholesterol police, heart attack and stroke, the chicken in the mango chicken was ok, there was not much mango ,not much chicken , and the chicken tasted different. Nothing tasted like Asian cuisine, they need two cooks and recipes, so that they taste can be consistent. I am just been truthful. 2 weeks ago I ordered their chicken fried rice, spinach rolls and duck ,the duck tasted way better but not like before . The duck, this this time was burnt 99.9% crazy I paid for burned food ,tasteless food ,oily food, delivery and tip SMMFH we ordered since about 1-2 and couldn't eat all because it truly was no good

I think this is the best Chinese food takeout Iβve ever had, and they were so nice. The lady at the counter asked if she could give my toddlers fortune cookies immediately as we came in. I was super impressed with the food, and I didnβt fully realize that the entire menu was vegetarian. I think it made it much better though, no rubbery takeout meat, and lots of veggies.

In the year 2026 - We are plagued by the $15.00+ βlunch specialβ¦β This is NOT the case with Vegetarian Palate. Iβve been eating here for the past 7 years and couldnβt speak more fondly of it. I feel like Iβve had most things on the menu now and have yet to be disappointed. Heck, most of my coworkers eat here at least once a week because the price is right and the food is ALWAYS on point ( weβre talking around 10 dollars for an entree, soup or spring roll, and a small mountain of rice ). I, for one, am a huge fan of the hot and sour soup ~ so so so good. The staff is always friendly and the special is something almost unheard of nowadays in terms of price, quality, and quantity. They also have an app now where you can accumulate points that can be redeemed - which is always a major hit. I could go on, but in short : Vegetarian Palate is one of the best places around my job ( which unfortunately is a food desertβ¦ ) But with VegPal / Welcome to the reprieve.

Come on down to Vegetarian Palate!! I work around the block from here and this is my go-to spot for a lunch special. So affordable, so much food, and everyone who works there is so very kind! Their spring rolls are transcendent.
